FromUs may save your unfinished message on your device if your browser has enough space. Look for Saved on this device before closing the page.
Return to a draft
Open the same invitation link in the same browser on the same device. You may be able to continue your saved message for up to seven days after it was last saved.
Saved messages do not move between devices. Clearing your browser data, using a different browser profile, or running out of space can remove the saved message. You still need to send it before the gift's deadline.
If you see Draft not saved, keep the page open until you finish. If you chose a video from your device, keep the original file until you see Your message is in.
An upload stopped
Check your internet connection and try again from the page you already have open. If you can still see your video there, use it instead of starting over. If you return later, look for your saved message.
An upload reaching 100% does not mean your message has arrived yet: FromUs still needs to check and add the video. Wait for Your message is in. If you are unsure whether it arrived, ask the organizer to check the gift page before sending it again.
If you choose Discard saved draft, the unfinished message saved on your device is removed. A message you already sent to the gift stays there.
Check that your message arrived on another device
After Your message is in., FromUs may offer Keep your confirmation link, with Copy confirmation link and Download confirmation. This private link confirms that one message was added. You can open it on another device without the organizer's link.
The confirmation expires seven days after it is created. It can stop working sooner if the organizer deletes the message or the message's storage time ends. Anyone with the link can see your name and the gift title, so keep it private.
The confirmation link is not a copy of your video and cannot continue an upload that stopped. An unsent message stays only in the same browser on the device where you made it.
