When the organizer dashboard says Your video is ready, play the finished video and check it before giving it to the recipient.
Share the gift
Use the share link labelled for the recipient on the ready screen. Send that watch link, not your private organizer link.
FromUs gives the gift owner a watch link to copy and send to the recipient. FromUs does not email the recipient or claim that an email reached them.
People with the watch link can open the video and download it while it is available. Share it only with people you intend to give access to, and keep the full link intact.
Open a gift someone sent you
Open the watch link and choose Open your video. If your browser pauses playback, select Play video. You can choose Skip animation when available; reduced-motion settings are also respected.
If the video fails to load, check your connection and choose Retry video. Ask the organizer for a fresh full watch link if the problem continues.
Say thanks or print a card
On an available gift, a viewer can write one optional message under Say thanks and choose Send thank-you. Once sent, the message cannot be changed or replaced. Everyone who opens the private watch link can see it. The gift shows it as A thank-you message, without a sender’s name; it does not claim the named recipient wrote it. The viewer can choose Copy thank-you or Share afterward. FromUs does not automatically send it to the people who made the gift.
Choose Print a gift card to open a printable card, then Print or save as PDF. Its QR code opens the private watch link, so treat printed and saved copies as private gifts. The card leaves the private address out of the visible text and shows when the video stops being available. Scan it and download the video before that date if you want a lasting copy. If a printed QR code will not scan, ask the sender for the original private watch link.
Keep a copy
Choose Download Video in the organizer dashboard, or Download on the opened watch page. Your browser or device controls where the file is saved; check its downloads area and make sure the file plays.
On the opened gift, choose Save names and gift details if you also want a plain-text note with the gift title, recipient, published contributor names, and the date the video stops being available online. This note is separate from the video. It does not contain the video, private links, notes kept by the gift owner, or original photo and video details.
Save your own copy before the date shown for the gift. Downloading does not extend how long the video stays online, and an update does not restart that period. After an updated video is ready, download the new version if you want to keep it.
If availability has ended, use an existing downloaded copy. FromUs cannot automatically regenerate an expired gift.
