Private links and video availability
Know who can open each link and when to save a copy.

FromUs uses different links for organizing, collecting messages and watching the finished gift. Treat each link according to what it allows.
Which link is which?

Your invitation link does not grant organizer access. However, people can forward links, so do not post them publicly if you want the gift kept within your group. A downloaded video can also be shared independently of FromUs.
An organizer can say who the gift is meant for, but that description does not restrict who can open a link. Anyone who receives an invitation or watch link may forward it. A confirmation link for a submitted message is private too: for up to seven days, it can show the sender's name, gift title and when the message was added. It does not show the video or let someone manage the gift.
If you accidentally share your private organizer link, contact info@fromusto.you. Do not assume deleting the message revokes access.
Return to your dashboard
Open the private link in the email sent when you created the gift. Organizer links are time-limited; reopening the same link does not extend its expiry. If a link has expired, contact support from the email address used to create the gift. Knowing a gift title or contributor link alone does not establish ownership.
How long is a gift stored?
For new gifts under the current offer:

The deadline for new messages is separate from these storage periods. A correction does not restart them. Follow the availability date on your gift page, especially for an older gift with different terms, and keep your own downloaded copy.
Saved contribution drafts are stored separately in your browser and can expire after seven days. Learn about drafts.
